Happy 3rd Birthday Jakie!!!!!!!!

Our baby is growing up!! Jake turned 3 years old last Monday (the 2nd) and to celebrate, we went up to the Great Wolf Lodge in Washington (about 2 hours from here). We were up there last Monday & Tuesday and had a blast!!! The lodge was both beautiful and tons of fun. It has a huge indoor water park attached so you can come and go from there as much as you like. We spent hours upon hours playing in the there. It also had a really cool lobby where they had a pajama story time with the wolf at night and a song show for the kids. We went expecting to have a good time, but both Michael and I were totally surprised at what a COOL trip it ended up to be!!!!

And they loved the slides - this slide & surprisingly, they loved the longer & faster twisting slides (no pictures of those because it's too wet by them for the camera). Freaked Michael and me out at first to let them go on their own, but they LOVED it!

And the other perk of this trip???? They fell asleep quick that night and slept like rocks....even rolling on top of each other and not waking up. Nevermind that they were up at 6:30 the next morning with wide eyes and jumping on us saying, "It's morning! It's morning! Can we all get up and go swimming now?"
