Praying for Haiti & two precious kiddos......

I've been slow to catch up on the news, but learned late Tuesday about all that is happening in Haiti as a result of the earthquake.  We have been & will continue to be on our knees for this country, it's people and especially for our dear friends Russ & Anita and their two children - brother and sister - R (little boy who is 7) and E (little girl who is 3).  Their children are at the God's Littlest Angels (GLA) orphanage in Haiti, waiting to come home to Oregon!!  Praise God they are both safe and that all the children at GLA are ok at this time.  Here is a link to their blog to read more about our great friends.    Everyday Is An Adventure

Russ & Anita were anticipating that R & E would come home sometime in early to mid 2010, but with the earthquake, much is now unknown.  However, Anita just gave everyone an update that GLA is advising them to contact our local governement officials and ask that R & E be given emergency humanitarian or refugee visas - without a Haitian passport.  I'm not sure what this all means - but would you please pray for them with us?  So many of us know how unsettling and unknown the adoption process is WITHOUT the impact of a crisis like this.  Please pray specifically for our friends for:

**Hearts to be open and willing to issue these visas - for our children as well as the other children in the orphanage.
**Wisdom for us to push when we need to push, and wait when we need to wait. (this is very difficult)
**For Russ & Anita's older children as they process all this and possibly a quicker than desired transistion.
**A way to get the kids out of Haiti. There are no commercial flights currently scheduled, and so may need a private plane

Also, if you feel led and are able to make a monetary donation to GLA to help them buy emergency food, supplies and gas for their generator, please pray about doing this!  You can donate to them directly through PayPal and your gift will go directly to children affected by the earthquake.  Here is the link to their website to do that!
