We got our new waiting list numbers this week.
Actually, there is little update about our numbers. When we were given the #22 three weeks ago, we were told that was our one number for both an infant girl and for siblings. Well, we learned that we actually have two numbers - one on the infant girl list and one on the sibling list. So, we'll be given updates on both #'s/lists from here on out.

On Wednesday, we learned that our new #'s are:
....on the infant girl list.

....on the sibling list.
This was more movement than we expected in just three weeks, so we're excited! We have been told that the infant girl list is moving rather slow at this time, so we'll have to see what that means in the coming months. About a week and 1/2 ago we went up to Portland to get our US CIS / Homeland Security fingerprints done and that was the last of our things to do until we get our referral. So, we just keep on waiting and praying! Based on what we're being told by our agency, we will likely be traveling to Ethiopia in early 2010. We're in a good place with all this and feel GREAT about how the timing is working out.
Thank you Lord!

We are headed up to USCIS to get our fingerprints redone. Getting an appointment this time around has been trying - but hopeful to have it taken care today.
So excited for you guys.
Thats is SO awsome! You guys have flown through this process! The waiting is the hardest past but it will go quickle I promise. I cant believe it is like 2 weeks until our court date and then she will be ours! We have to figure out a time to hang out! Take care

Wow, you guys, I can hardly believe this is all fitting together for you so quickly. Actually, I'm sure it *doesn't* feel quick for you -- it feels like FOREVER! It just feels quick for those of us on the 'outside' who haven't done all the paperwork. It will be so exciting to see who will join our family! Love you, krissi
